History

In 2021, a group of friends of Cameroonian descent in Tampa, Florida came together around a simple but powerful idea: combine their shared love for soccer with the desire to serve their community. What began as casual weekend games soon grew into an avenue where people of diverse backgrounds, professions, and experiences connect, support one another, and create positive impact.
The club was officially launched in July 2022 aboard a yacht cruise along the stunning beaches of Clearwater, Florida, surrounded by ocean views and live entertainment from the legendary Grace Decca. Members celebrated not just a launch, but the beginning of a bold, connected community.
Today, Tampa Veterans Club Inc. is a non-profit, non-partisan organization registered with the Florida Secretary of State and the Internal Revenue Services as a 501(c)(3) entity. The club actively competes in local, regional, and national tournaments, including the annual National Veterans Tournament (NVT-USA FA). Beyond the pitch, the club’s true identity lies in friendship, unity, and giving back to the community.
