The 2024 National Veterans Tournament (NVT) was proudly hosted in Blaine at the renowned National Sports Center, one of the premier soccer facilities in North America. The event brought together 42 veteran clubs representing communities across the United States and Canada, reaffirming the NVT’s growing reputation as the leading platform for former soccer players to reconnect through sport, leadership, and community engagement.

Over the course of the tournament, more than 1,200 veteran players competed in over 80 spirited matches that celebrated sportsmanship, legacy, and camaraderie through the beautiful game. The event drew an impressive 13,430 spectators, transforming Blaine into a vibrant hub of soccer, culture, and community celebration.

Beyond the competition on the field, the tournament delivered meaningful social impact through 11 community outreach initiatives, including youth engagement activities and humanitarian programs supporting children in underserved communities. These initiatives reflect the NVT’s broader mission of empowering former athletes to serve as mentors, leaders, and advocates within their communities.
