The NVT aims to ensure broad national representation across U.S. and Canadian states. In order to strengthen diversity and geographic balance, priority consideration is given to clubs from states with limited or no existing representation within the NVT network.

All applying clubs must demonstrate legitimate organizational structure, footballing activities, and registration within their respective state.
