Celebrated 10 Years of Soccer, Culture, and Community Impact
The 2025 National Veterans Tournament (NVT) at the prestigious Voice of America Athletic Complex in West Chester, Ohio marked a historic milestone as the organization celebrated its 10th anniversary, a decade of bringing together former footballers, community leaders, and supporters through the power of sport. The Cincinnati edition elevated the tournament’s profile as a premier soccer and community engagement event in the United States, combining high-level competition with cultural celebration, humanitarian service, and economic impact.
Hosted in one of the Midwest’s most vibrant cities, the tournament attracted thousands of participants and spectators from across the country. The event also received strong civic support, with the County Administrator and several other elected officials attending both the opening and closing ceremonies, recognizing the tournament’s contributions to community unity, cultural exchange, and economic development.
A Tournament of National Significance
The 2025 championship significantly expanded the reach, participation, and visibility of the NVT, bringing together a growing network of veteran football clubs and supporters. Over 50 clubs participated in the national competition, while six additional clubs took part in a special Mini-Tournament organized to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the NVT movement.
The tournament welcomed more than 1,600 players representing communities across the United States, while overall attendance exceeded 70,000 spectators throughout the multi-day event. Fans experienced a unique blend of competitive football, cultural performances, and community-focused programming that reflects the NVT’s mission of building lasting connections through sport.
