Club Profile :
Elite Veterans FC is a community-driven soccer organization based in Bowie, Maryland, founded in 2005 with the primary goal of bringing together soccer enthusiasts while promoting healthy living, unity, and social responsibility. Originally established as Bowie FC, the club evolved through different phases, becoming Friends in Club in 2015 and ultimately adopting the name Elite Veterans FC in 2020, reflecting its growth and renewed vision under new leadership.
The club is composed largely of experienced players and professionals from diverse backgrounds, including individuals who have served in the U.S. military. It emphasizes discipline, sportsmanship, and inclusivity, creating an environment where members not only compete but also build lifelong relationships grounded in brotherhood and mutual respect.
Elite Veterans FC combines athletic excellence with strong community engagement. The club promotes physical fitness through regular training sessions and active participation in major regional and national competitions such as the DMV Veterans League, Northeast Veterans Tournament (NEVT), and National Veterans Tournament (NVT). Beyond competition, it runs programs focused on mentorship, youth development, and humanitarian outreach, using soccer as a platform for social impact.
With an average membership of over 40 active players annually, the club has built a reputation as one of the pioneering veteran soccer organizations in Maryland. Its activities extend beyond the field, including signature events such as the President’s Cup and Family Day, which strengthen internal bonds and celebrate the contributions of members’ families.
